Vehicle Damage Assessment Bielefeld — Our Services

From the first inspection to the finished file for the expert — find out what is behind each step of our work.

Personal damage assessment at your location

No workshop visit needed. Talha Pekinalp comes directly to you — at home, at work or at the accident site. Each vehicle is inspected according to a fixed checklist: paint damage, deformations, gap measurements and hidden damage are systematically recorded. This creates a complete picture before the expert takes over.

  • Service area: Bielefeld, Gütersloh, Herford, Paderborn, Detmold
  • Fixed inspection checklist for consistent quality
  • Evening and Saturday appointments available
  • No workshop visit required

Photo documentation to expert standard

Good photos determine whether a report holds up. We work with a standardised documentation protocol: overview shots, detail photos and scaled comparison images. Every image is digitally archived and linked to date, time and vehicle data — resulting in a complete, structured record.

  • Standardised protocol: overview, detail, comparison
  • Digital archive with metadata
  • Suitable for insurance, court and authorities
  • Immediately usable for the expert

Structured handover to the expert

After the assessment, our expert partner cars-experte.de receives a complete digital file: photos, vehicle data, mileage, damage description and — if available — the accident report.

  • Structured digital file
  • Includes: photos, vehicle data, damage description
  • Direct forwarding to cars-experte.de
  • Expert can start immediately

Consultation in three languages

Language barriers often cost time after an accident. Talha Pekinalp advises you in German, Turkish or English — from the first call to the finished report. Especially for non-German-speaking vehicle owners, this means less stress and fewer misunderstandings.

  • German, Turkish and English
  • All steps explained in your language
  • No interpreter needed
  • Personal contact throughout

Legal notice

Our service is limited to technical damage assessment and photo documentation. We do not provide legal advice and do not make legal recommendations regarding damage settlement. The damage assessment does not replace a court-admissible full report — this is prepared exclusively by our accredited expert partner cars-experte.de.

For minor damage with repair costs below approximately €750–1,000, insurers typically only reimburse a repair estimate rather than a full expert report. We will clarify in the initial consultation which option makes sense in your case.

Frequently Asked Questions about Vehicle Damage Reports

When do I need a vehicle damage expert?
A vehicle damage expert is recommended after an accident involving a third party or for significant damage. They document the damage with legal validity and determine the exact scope — the basis for settling the claim with the insurance company.
Who pays for the vehicle damage expert after an accident?
In a no-fault accident, the third-party liability insurance typically covers the expert costs. In self-caused accidents, your own insurance may cover the costs depending on your policy. We do not provide legal advice — for specific questions, contact your lawyer or insurer.
Can I choose my own vehicle damage expert?
Yes. As an accident victim, you have the right to appoint an expert of your choice. You are not obliged to accept the expert suggested by the other party's insurer.
What does a vehicle damage report cost?
Costs depend on the damage and typically range between €150 and €700. In a no-fault accident, the expert costs are usually reimbursed by the other party's insurer. We give you an estimate at the initial consultation.
How does the vehicle assessment work with us?
Talha Pekinalp comes to you, inspects the vehicle according to a fixed protocol and creates a complete photo documentation. All documents are then forwarded as a package to our expert partner cars-experte.de, who prepares the official report.
When is a repair estimate enough instead of a full report?
For minor damage with repair costs below approximately €750–1,000, insurers often only reimburse a repair estimate rather than a full expert report. We assess together at the initial consultation whether a full report is needed.
What documents do I need for a vehicle damage report?
Typically: vehicle registration document, ID and — if available — the accident report. We will tell you exactly what is needed at your appointment.
What does replacement value mean in a damage report?
The replacement value is the amount needed to buy a comparable vehicle on the used car market. It is relevant in cases of total loss or when repair costs exceed the vehicle's value.
What is the residual value of a vehicle?
The residual value is the sale value of the damaged vehicle in its current condition — for example as a salvage vehicle. It is assessed by the expert and is key to calculating compensation in a total loss.
What is diminished value in a vehicle?
Even after a proper repair, an accident vehicle may be worth less when resold than an accident-free vehicle — this is known as diminished value. It can be claimed as additional compensation and is shown in the expert report.
